Social-Emotional Intelligence
While students ultimately attend school to master academic standards and skills, we believe that social-emotional learning stands side-by-side with academic learning. Social-emotional health is the ability to understand and manage one's emotions, reactions and relationships.
Every child needs to develop social-emotional skills to be successful in school and in life. Our model will help students understand their brain, learn how to cope in difficult situations and empower them to be their strongest and brightest selves.
In return, our students will have the ability to establish and maintain healthy relationships with adults and their peers as our model teaches them about Safe Relationships, Self-Regulation, Awareness of Self, Understanding Others and what it means to be a Changemaker.
